The Chief Executive of Islamic Republic of Pakistan very kindly promulgated DHA Order No 26 on wed 19 Sep 2002 for the reconstitution of Defence Housing Authority Lahore. After promulgation of Chief Executive Order, DHA is entirely a changed organization. It now has reinforced powers and the jurisdiction to acquire land any where in the province of Punjab. With a view of accomplishing the desired objectives, management of DHA under the new order will be as follows:- | Chairman | Secretary Defence | | Vice Chairman | Commander 4 Corps | | Member | Administrator DHA | | Member | Two Co-Opted Civilians | | Member | Secretary DHA | Governing Body | It shall be giving policy decision, approving the budget/audit report and reviewing the progress and activities of the authority. | | Chairman | Secretary Ministry of Defence | | Vice Chairman | Commander 4 Corps | | Member | Administrator DHA | | Member | Two Co-Opted Civilians | | Member | Secretary DHA | Executive Board | It shall exercise all the administrative, executive and financial powers to run the affairs of the Authority. | | President | Commander 4 Corps | | Member | Administrator DHA | | Member | Two Co-Opted Civilians | | Member | Secretary DHA | Administrator | Administrator shall be the Chief Executive Officer of the Authority, who shall exercise all executive powers of the Authority. |
